About the job
Primary responsibilities:
- Setup, build, and maintain highly personalised and dynamic cross channel campaigns (including email, SMS, push, etc.) and journeys. Proficiency in SQL, SSJS, JSON and AMPScript is required
- Configure email and omni-channel journeys with dynamic content and templates, personalization, mobile responsiveness and interactivity
- Create queries to extract customer segmentation based on personas, triggers or other customer attributes for journey and content builds
- Develop and maintain documentation on specifications, design, and test results in accordance to best practices and standards (e.g. BRD, FRD)
- Partake in Marketing Cloud implementation for new clients – knowledge in Marketing Cloud Connect would be ideal
- Identify opportunities to optimise campaigns and journeys.
- Staying up to date on key platform enhancements and product updates.
Secondary responsibilities:
- Be part of a team that partakes in client discussions and sales journeys to gather business requirements and specifications, architecture and application design, and solutioning
- Provide recommendations to align Salesforce’s technology and offerings to existing and new clients business needs and advising on the solution offerings
Must have requirements:
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience working in marketing automation (SFMC) in a technical role including Marketing Cloud implementations
- Strong knowledge of Marketing Cloud functionalities such as of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Contact Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, Mobile Studio, Ad Studio, Marketing Cloud Connector
- Marketing cloud implementation experience
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Sales and/ or Service cloud ecosystems and how they integrate with Marketing Cloud
- Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, AMPScript, API integrations, Java script, SQL, and JSON
- Marketing Cloud Certifications (Developer/ Consultant/ Email Specialist)
- Self-motivation and a desire for continuous learning and improvement
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Good to have requirements:
- Knowledge of additional products such as MC Personalisation (Interaction Studio), MC Intelligence (Datorama), Experience Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Loyalty Management or CDP is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Einstein Analytics
- Experience or knowledge with other marketing automation platforms is advantageous
- Be able to understand ETL and data migration best practices
