Join our Infosec Global Security Operations team InfoSec Security Operations Team is responsible for safeguarding the security of Akamai's systems, infrastructure and providing internal advocacy for security practices. Opportunity to work closely with product and platform teams throughout the company. Become a Security Subject Matter Expert You Will be responsible for managing operations during the allocated shift. And gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The role requires functional leadership, technical competence, familiarity with recent threats, and adversarial techniques. As a Security Analyst Senior II Lead, you will be responsible for- • Ensuring to review and track of alerts from Security monitoring tools and review investigations to align with the policy, standard and procedures. • Aligning with respective site leads/managers on Holidays and Leaves (Planned/emergency) for the in-shift individuals. • Ensuring to manage KPI's and Trend analysis of security investigations, incidents for metrics and measure the efficiency of operational activities. • Co-ordinating Security Monitoring and Incident Handling efforts across multiple business units during response. • Having knowledge of security tools - Network IDS/IPS, Firewall, Host IDS / IPS, Antivirus, Linux Operating System • Having detailed security event analysis, event investigation and validation, correlation and trending. Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will- • Have 7-9 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree • Have minimum of 5 year's experience in leading Security operations. • Have IT Security related recognition in any of, CEH, CCNA, SANS, CISSP or Incident Response • Demonstrate some experience of software development using Python/C/C++ • Have Knowledge of traditional Endpoint, Network, Perimeter and Endpoint Detection Response security product solutions • Demonstrate some exposure to Windows, Linux and Open-Source Intelligence Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
