As part of our Legal team, you will provide legal support for our corporate governance activities related to Zendesk vendors, data, and products. The Legal team is seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to lead various mission critical programs. This role reports to Zendesk’s Director, Senior Counsel of Privacy. Responsibilities (what you get to do every day):

  • Lead and perform various corporate governance activities related to Zendesk vendors, data, and products.
  • Assist attorneys with review and preparation of various legal and regulatory documents.
  • Catalog, file, and organize legal documents.
  • Assist with collecting, filing and circulating documents for review.
  • Monitor government agencies’ rules and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain records and status of various projects.
  • Research, analyze, compile data and prepare reports.
  • Work with multiple groups across the company and external parties to support the team and accomplish company goals.
  • Supports Associate General Counsel with substantive legal matters.
  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures relating to areas of responsibilities.
  • A high level of professionalism, integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while successfully driving and tracking multiple projects to completion in a timely manner.

Requirements (what you bring to the role):

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate and/or Associates degree in legal studies from ABA approved program.
  • Prior exp in Security, Privacy, and Compliance required
  • Sense of humor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional communication.
  • Prior in-house experience.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop partnerships across departments to speed information gathering.
  • Accountable, self-starter, and results-oriented.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with SaaS at a global tech company preferred.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $52.40-$78.37. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
