We are looking for a Web Developer to join our marketing team. The Marketing Web Developer will be primarily focused on optimizing and customizing the theme used on Gordian.com (WordPress), as well as working with an external agency for Magento development on rsmeans.com. The Marketing Web Developer will be responsible for collaborating with the marketing team to integrate marketing technology systems, such as CRMs, marketing automation platforms and analytics tools. This individual will also be responsible for creating and assisting with related user stories, translating business requests to technical requirements, and serving as an SME for the department to help communicate what is possible and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the custom theme used on Gordian.com (WordPress).
• Work with an external agency for Magento development on rsmeans.com.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate marketing technology systems, such as CRMs, marketing automation platforms, or analytics tools.
• Translate business requests to technical requirements.
• Serve as an SME for the department to help communicate what is possible and provide recommendations.
• Customize client-side JavaScript libraries and scripts deployed through Google Tag Manager.
• Ensure the websites meet high standards of performance, usability, functionality, and quality.
• Monitor website performance and find opportunities for improvement.
• Produce user experiences with an attention to detail.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a developer using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP to develop dynamic user experiences.
• Solid understanding of WordPress CMS and theme customization.
• Experience with REST API integrations and web services.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

National: The salary range for this position is $52,600- $97,800

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
