About the Role

 

The Website Content Associate, in close collaboration with GEAPP’s Strategic Communications team will be integral in ensuring a strong web presence that is consistent with GEAPP’s organizational and communications strategies and brand.

The Website Content Associate responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead on the overall ongoing development of content for GEAPP’s primary website, as well as other related microsites
  • Lead on web content entry, and the development of new additional web pages (I.e. country profiles and case studies) within the existing WordPress environment
  • Support the planning, managing, and maintaining of the content editorial calendar in collaboration with other team members
  • Identify content opportunities for website, including case studies, blogs, and project highlights, and work with GEAPP colleagues and partners to develop
  • Project manage key webs projects (I.e. GEAPP’s annual Powering People and Planet report microsite)
  • Define KPIs, analyze performance, develop actionable insights using Google Analytics and produce reports on web results following key milestone moments
  • Support on the implementation of GEAPP’s SEO strategy, including researching and recommending SEO keywords to ensure that content is SEO optimized and drives organic search traffic
  • Proactive monitoring of the website for any technical and security issues and flagging to our web development agency partner
  • Manage relationships with various digital vendors and partners
  • Support with content creation for use on social media channels, working closely with GEAPP’s Social Media Lead
    Knowledge, skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, marketing or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in managing and creating content for organizational websites, with a keen attention to detail, and ideally with experience working in international development and/or energy, climate focused organizations.
  • Strong experience and understanding of WordPress and Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing projects with numerous interdependencies in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and collaborative environment.
  • Experience working with a diverse, multicultural set of stakeholders.

  • Web development skills
  • Experience and familiarity with non-profit/public sector.
  • Graphic design skills and/or video editing skills.
  • Data visualization creation and/or web integration.

Note: This is a one-year contract role, it will be remote with the ability to work in GEAPP's Delhi Office.
