Job Title: Email Marketing Assistant for the Internal Virtual Latinos Team (the job will start Part-Time and go to Full-Time after a maximum training period of 12 weeks)

 

Pay Rate:

Initial Part-Time Rate (for the first 12 weeks or less): $560-$640

Full-Time Rate (post-training): $1,120-$1,280

*The monthly salary range posted is stipulated as an average monthly income. However, all jobs at Virtual Latinos are hourly-based, and payments are calculated on the number of hours a person works daily. We pay our Virtual Professionals every 2 weeks through third-party platforms. The hourly rate range of the position is $7- $8 depending on experience. Once a rate has been offered to you, it is non-negotiable.

 

Work Schedule:

Initial Part-Time Rate (for the first 12 weeks of training or less then becoming full-time 40hrs/week, full-time availability needed.

Monday-Friday, 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch break. The entire shift should fall between 7 am- 5 pm PST.

Job Summary: We are seeking an Email Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team in Virtual Latinos. As an Email Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our email marketing campaigns, driving engagement, and assisting with the execution of successful email marketing strategies. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and understanding of email marketing best practices will be vital to the success of our campaigns.

 

Job Tasks:

 

1. Email Campaign Execution:

  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of email marketing initiatives and campaigns, including scheduling emails, managing subscriber lists, and ensuring accurate targeting and segmentation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content for emails, adhering to brand guidelines and best practices.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement based on the observations and feedback you gather in every campaign.
  • Assist with email marketing automation by editing flows, tags, and segments in automated campaigns.

2. Database Management:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the email marketing database, including regular data cleansing and segmentation.
  • Assist in growing the subscriber base through various channels, such as website sign-ups, lead-generation campaigns, and social media initiatives.
  • Implement strategies to improve email deliverability, open rates, and list engagement.
  • Assist with email marketing reports by tracking metrics and reporting outcomes, insights and points of improvement.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to ensure timely execution of email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align email marketing initiatives with broader marketing and promotional activities.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and email marketing technologies/tools, and share relevant knowledge with the team.

4. Copywriting for Email Marketing Campaigns:

  • Develop compelling and persuasive email copy that effectively communicates key messages and drives recipient engagement.
  • Craft attention-grabbing subject lines that entice opens and accurately represent the content of the email.
  • Tailor the tone and style of the copy to align with the brand voice and target audience, ensuring consistency across email communications.
  • Implement effective calls-to-action (CTAs) that drive desired responses and conversions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven 2 years of experience in email marketing, preferably in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Encharge, Mailshake, Lemlist, etc.) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
