The Role

 

Donorbox is hiring a Video Marketer to manage our video marketing efforts across all social media platforms. The Video Marketer will oversee the promotion of our YouTube channel and individual videos to ensure that they align with the company’s overall marketing strategy. This person will help launch and optimize videos for YouTube SEO, video SEO, conduct research regarding our target audience and our competition’s audience, distribute videos across all possible channels to ensure maximum views, and build backlinks for the videos.

 

You will also work on optimizing the video content on landing pages, blogs & product, title creation to generate greater impact, maximizing exposure through the use of SEO and thumbnail selection, increasing the number of subscribers, and leveraging videos across other social media platforms for more views.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement channel strategy, including long-term goals, go-to-market strategies, and key performance indicators within YouTube’s search engine
  • Manage channel content - launch, optimize and monitor all the content going on the channel
  • Coordinate with the production team for a content calendar, maintain a video bank, and document details regarding launches and upcoming videos
  • Develop and oversee channel community, and coordinate with Customer Success team to provide right answers for questions on YouTube comments
  • Monitor channel analytics, prepare regular reports, and ideate & strategize new ideas to improve performance constantly
  • Develop channel marketing strategy and implement tactics, including paid and organic search, social, and display advertising
  • Manage channel communications, including social media, blogs, and other owned/earned/paid media
  • Optimize videos on all of our blog, emailers, landing pages, and product dashboard
  • Build quality backlinks by conducting research and an executing effective blogger outreach strategy
  • Distribution of videos on nonprofit forums, Facebook, and LinkedIn groups while leveraging Quora and Reddit for video distribution
  • Find new and innovative ways to promote and distribute videos to reach our target audience

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in video marketing, YouTube SEO, and video distribution
  • Expert knowledge of video marketing, distribution on social media, and optimization of videos on blogs
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Airtable, and related software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative eye for design and video content
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Enjoys taking ownership and making an impact

Details

  • Remote only
  • South Africa or India based applicants only
  • Salary is $800/month to $1500/month, based on experience
